Group primarily for At Home Dads and family in the Chicago NW and West Suburbs (or from other areas if you're up for making the trip, all are welcome). Will also promote fun activities and events open to moms, other dads & single parents. Plan will be to arrange playgroup (Wednesday or Thursday each week), at parks and other meet ups (zoo, mall, splash pad, museums). For convenience, playgroups will be arranged in a central location to those members who have been attending. Everything is pretty much open to suggestion and will come down to members input and suggestions. pumpkin patch / apple picking
Does anyone have any tips on where to take my kids to pick apples / visit a pumpkkin patch in the Chicago region, we live in the city but I don't mind driving out an hour or two.

Anyone have any suggestions for events and places to meet with the kids? Also, any interest in starting up a monthly Dad's Night Out? If so, what weeknight(s) would work best for you?
