For the 5th consecutive year as a presenting sponsor of the 21st National At-Home Dads Convention (HomeDadCon), Huggies® will once again enforce their Diaper Need efforts to all of the dads in attendance.
The difference is, this year, Huggies is taking it to the next level.

In 2010, Kimberly-Clark first brought the issue of diaper need to the forefront, when a groundbreaking Huggies study revealed that one in three U.S. parents suffer from diaper need. This struggle to provide clean diapers for babies means that parents often have to choose between paying for food or buying diapers.

Huggies Brand Manager, Aaron Gretebeck, will be discussing more about Huggies involvement with diaper donations during the At-Home Dads Volunteerism Panel at HomeDadCon. Dads in attendance, and those following on Twitter and Facebook, will learn about Huggies new program, No Baby Unhugged. It is a program that will help all babies get the hugs they need and it includes their long standing commitment to get diapers to babies in need so they remain clean, dry and healthy to thrive.

Over the past six years, Huggies has been giving hugs in the form of more than 200 million diapers and wipes to help babies in need. In 2011, the brand helped establish the National Diaper Bank Network, which it continues to support, helping it grow from 20 banks to 320.

With Diaper Need Awareness Week (9/25-10/2) just wrapping up, Huggies No Baby Unhugged program helped give “hugs” in the form of 2.5 million diapers and 5 million wipes to Baby2Baby families in need. Baby2Baby is part of the National Diaper Bank Network.

As part of the HomeDadCon Volunteerism Panel, Huggies will be able to give the dads more information on how to get involved in these important programs. Some of the ways to get involved include:

• Volunteering at a local bank
• Hosting a diaper drive with your friends or playgroup
• Donating diapers to your local diaper bank.
o Visit the National Diaper Bank Network to find a diaper bank in your area
• Donating your Huggies Rewards points to babies in need. Download the new Huggies Rewards app and find more information at
• Donating to the Healthy Mom & Baby Diaper Drive

The National At-Home Dad Network is proud to partner with Huggies and their No Baby Unhugged program to help combat diaper need. We are excited to hear what Huggies has in store for this new program at HomeDadCon and hope that you will be watching for updates from Huggies and from us.

Get involved.

Huggies founded the National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) in 2011, a non-profit organization with a mission to drive awareness of diaper need in the U.S. and build up the capabilities of diaper banks across the country.
