I see the locality option for new topics is American only. To date, I only know of one other Canadian AHD. I'm wondering if there are any more around here?

Of particular interest would be those in BC. But really any Canadians would be cool.

My wife says hi.

She wanted to send you this artist rendering of her working on her brand new computer!

BC Boy

Hey, I think I'm the only other Canadian here. Spent almost 40 years of my life in Langley before moving cross country to Montreal about a year and a half ago. Haven't run into too many others online thru the years. I've been the token Canadian at the last 5 conventions.

Nice!

I'm from Ontario originally, moved to Alberta for the larger portion of my life, and then to BC over a year ago. Not proud of my Alberta background though, what a hole.

I have a good online friend of mine from ##electronics channel on irc.freenode.net that lives in Montreal right now. Seems like a great place. I watch a lot of Just for Laughs Gags and the people there seem to be very helpful and good natured... too bad that just gets exploited so that I can laugh my head off. ;p

Montreal's been pretty cool

Montreal's been pretty cool so far. The festivals seem to be nonstop - caught some of the comedy and jazz fests this summer, lots of fun. The winters have been a new experience, definately different than the BC coast. We had snow forts all over the yard and flooded a little rink out back. That will be here soon again I guess. Where abouts in BC did you move to?

Kelowna

It's a cute little town, a bit too "upper class" for my liking but still nice. A lower crime rate than Edmonton where I lived previously and so far I've been enjoying that. Good police too, RCMP which I find a 1,000 times better then the EPS (Edmonton Police Service).

Don't really have friends here (last count I had none) as I don't generally share the same goals in life as most of the people I meet, but I have the Internet so I can live without real life friends ;)
