from the new guy.
What's up with the "dad points"?
Silly Question

A thought from a new guy to other new guy.... you get a better seat at the convention or free beer on the charter fishing trip.

I don't know, but I'm guessing having a lot of them is good. That's why I keep posting away...
Kidding. I do it for the cash rewards.
What, you guys haven't gotten your athomedad.org bonus checks yet?

It's not so bad. Mike Biewing's sweatshop is less sweaty than most, and your co-workers are all children, so you still get to practice some of your at-home-dad skills...

I'm still waiting for mine to come through. At this point is should be a pretty good one when it comes! LOL! And there was plenty of free beer at the convention, you just need to get yourself there (I expect to see all of you there next November -- it's awesome!). Okay...seriously...I have no idea what they are about. Your guess is as good as mine.

Mike explained it a while back. They are actually limit points. When you hit 500, a program automatically notifies child protective services that you have been spending too much time in front of the computer.
Actually, they are nothing now, just part of the forum software, but Mike said maybe later they'd be used for something.

Alenaspoppa- I'd watch what you say. Your no longer accruing any points.

I'm not accruing any points either. This sucks. Not unlike a crackerjack prize but it's nice to see the numbers go up while I'm entertaining myself during naptime.

This is not a test to see if it does or doesn't add points so just ignore this post. I would never do anything so silly.
Dayv

We've all been banned from points accrual...

If you're not getting points when you post, let me know. Mostly, it's just a way to make note of who's a regular and encourage people to post.
If you have some brilliant idea on how to use them, let's hear it. :-)
