New to the boards but thought I would put a inquiry out there. Are there any stay home dad fantasy baseball leagues out there?

There will be. My friend, a SAHD from Chicago, Doug has organized a World Cup league, a football league, March Madness league and will do a baseball league.

Hey Shoeless,

I hope you can join us for fantasy baseball - we had a tough time coming up with enough guys for football here at ChicagoDads. I'll set up something in March (probably through Yahoo), and I'll send you out an email about it. We'll probably let Josh in too, even though he's a Yankee fan....

Would Love To Join Up As Well

I usually play the Yahoo free leagues and would ideally love to find people that I have things in common with to play with. I have been a league commissioner and participant and would love to find more dads that would love to play. Let me know about where and when to sign up. Always looking for more fantasy players to have fun with.

excellent.. what type of league have you commish of? i am currently commish of a H2H points keeper league for the last 4 years.

If you have trouble getting enough guys, I'd play. I've been playing roto for a very long time.

Fantasy Baseball League

Hey Guys,

I'm getting ready to set up the fantasy baseball league, and I thought I'd try to get some feedback first. Do you have a preference for head-to-head or rotisserie? I'm thinking ML (instead of AL or NL), and single-season. Also, I'm thinking of going with the free ESPN league instead of Yahoo because it has got live stats (which cost extra on Yahoo). I can't please everybody, but let me know what your preferences are and I'll do the best I can. Thanks!

I would prefer Roto 5x5.

I would prefer Roto 5x5. ESPN is cool since i have been wanting to try it out. As far as league goes, a Mixed League format is good with me. What about positions?

C = 1
1b = 1
2b = 1
3b = 1
ss = 1
OF = 3
Utl= 1
P = 9 (any combo of SP, P, RP)

Bench = 4 or 5

DL = 2
