The new March Parents magazine is running a little article on yes you guessed it Hockey playing moms.. Why can't my wife play hockey?
I looked online to send a link but there isn't one so if you get the mag your in luck if not look at it in the grocery store.

She studied Ninpo Tai Jitsu for five years. She could, and probably would, take her skate off and stab someone with it.

My wife plays
My wife was a competitive figure skater for about 20 years. She now laces up hockey skates. She doesn't get to play as much as she would like, but she has a decent shot when she's out there, and yes, she has scored two goals against me.
