I was a pc guy up until a year ago. Then I went to a mac and I haven't looked back..
The key board not only lights up it is ambient controlled the darker it gets, the darker the keys gets. to help save the battery.

That's me in Tiananmen Square looking towards the entrance to the Forbidden City.
There are some advantages to having a wife who has to travel alot for work, and thank God for grandparents and aunts who are more than willing top watch the little one while we are gone.
We spent some time in Hong Kong where my wife's meetings were and then went to Beijing for a week, what a great experience.

On a day hike while sea kyaking the San Juan Islands for 7 days in Washington State in Double Aught Seven.
I was kid/wife free for 10 days while sampling the best seafood, micro's and wines the NW had to offer, good thing a buddy of mine was now local up there and knew the best of the best.

My son Landon taking after me with living on caffeine. No he didn't get any of it. But every time I have a drink in my hand and he's near he reaches for it. Which reminds me of the first mt. dew I ever got. My dad was stationed on a nuke submarine here in charleston, sc and I was 5, and we went to visit him on the ship. He taught me to play checkers and gave me half a can of dew. I think that would be my downfall now. I've been hooked since. So anybody out there that knows anybody at the pepsi/dew co. shoot me a line cause I could sure use a machine for being a faithful customer for 20+ years in my shop.

This is me and my daughter from last summer. She's now almost 9 months old. I'll try to change my pic to better represent how cute she is and how ugly I am.

...a random pic from our trip to Europe last summer. I'm sitting in a canal boat as we were touring the canals in Brugge, Belgium. Olivia was too busy watching the water to care about being in the picture.
Aye, there's nary an animal alive that can outrun a greased scotsman...

I knew that boat. Your dad was probably before my time, but I was on the Henry L Stimson SSBN 655 for my first tour. We were "based" in Charleston, but they always took us down to Kings Bay, GA to pick up the boat and we refitted out of there. I later transfered to a fast attack out of Groton, CT. I was on the Albuquerque SSN 706. I spent a little bit of time in the shipyard in Portsmouth, NH for that boat.
During offcrew, I lived with a roommate in Mt. Pleasant. I dated a couple of girls from Goose Creek and Monks Corner at one point. I was in Charleston from about 1988 to the Spring of 1991.

The new guy has an avatar!
I think I may have avatar envy.
I will have to look back and see one of your old threads Chef.
Those are some serious meat hook talents you have.

I hate you so hard.
