My wife and I are on a roll now. We went on our second date in 6 months last night. I took her to see one of the great American performances of our time: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. I bought the tickets for her for Valentines Day.

If you get the chance to catch them before they are done for good, I would highly recommend it. The Boss is starting to show his age a little in his appearance, but he still sounds as young and strong as ever. A lot of energy the entire time and all over the stage.

No opening act, just 2 and a half hours of solid American rock/folk rock. And, of course, the E Street band has to be one of the best bands ever assembled. What a great show.

Keep it up...

I was never really a Boss fan...I liked him but was not a fanatic like some until I saw him live, incredible show. I can now say I'm a fan.
My wife and I went out on a real date for the first time since our son was born 6 months ago, I have been with her for 5 years and I never saw her go to the bathroom more at the restaurant and bar ever in our relationship. She was calling her mother for a report on our son. Can't blame her but we were supposed to be relaxing and enjoying our company. We are going to try again in a couple weeks. Keep up with the dates.

I would highly agree with

I would highly agree with you on this sentiment. The wife and I saw "The Boss" when he was here in Omaha back on March 14th and must say it was a helluva show. The only members of the band that were not here were Patti (At home withe their teenage boys and Danny who I understand is recovering from cancer). "The Boss" played for about 2 1/2 hours and it was just fantastic. I had only seen him previously on his solo acoustic tour in the late 90s so it was awesome to see the E-Street band this time. The wife was a little upset that he did not play more of the "Born In The USA" album and so were some other women. I did my best to tell them to be grateful as who knows how many more times Bruce will be willing to do a full fledged tour after this one. I was just so glad to be there and to see everything that they did together on stage.
