April 2. I added this to
April 2. I added this to the original post. The show is usually on 7:00-10:00 am central time. Check your local listings. I'm not sure when in the show the segment will be on - record it and fast forward, I guess....
Lone Star
No offence, but why do they always pick a state like Texas for dads to be from? Is it more many somehow. Granted RebleDad could be from Texas.
Be Seeing You.
No, the research is out of a Texas university (A&M?)
and so the study group is made up of Texas dads. The interviewee, Rebel Dad, is not in this research group. He might be from Texas for all I know, but that wouldn't be why they picked him. They probably picked him because he's a vocal dadvocate.
I just coined that term, btw. Feel free to use it. And then send me a dollar.
Now with new Dad Blog!: http://backpackingdad.blogspot.com
Dadvocate
Dadvocate...I like that. Hehehehe. Dadvocate. It kind of just slides right your tongue...dadvocate...Yep, I like that...dadvocate...oh, wait. Crap! Now I owe you $4.00 BackpackingDad. Shoot!

The University of Texas. ("The" University of Texas)
Aaron and one of his former Associates were at the convention in KC this past year. Great guys. They used an At-home Dad group in Austin for part of their research. I forget where RebelDad is from, but I don't think it's Texas.
OH
I didn't know. Snipe with drawn :-)
Be Seeing You.
I Wanna Say
RebelDad is eastcoast for some reason, might be something I read sometime ago. Don't hold me to it, I might be Wasted Away Again!

DC area
Brian, aka Rebeldad, is in the DC area. I believe he is in Virginia and is an east coast guy. Wears a Red Sox hat usually when you run into him. I wonder if he'll wear his Sox cap on TV.
130 guys
One of the reasons we get tagged for this stuff is that we have 130 or more dads in our group (30 or more attend something each week, I would guess) and we schedule playgroup activities every weekday, and lots of weekend days, too.
Heck, some days we have 2 or three things going on opposite sides of town to either limit travel time or to do smaller groups with a specific focus, like groups for dads who jog.
That way most everyone can make SOMETHING during the week.
Plus we have a Dad's night out every month somewhere with beer. Loads of beer.
