I don't think they're Cylons. They have one thing in common, at one point or another they were all arrested on New Caprica.
If you don't understand what I'm talking about, you're missing the best sci-fi show that has ever happened.
the first episode/movie that brought it back, but I have not watched it since. I really want to but just haven't. My wife is not a great fan, and right now we are in a small apartment, so she can't get away from it if I'm watching.

The season three episode Exodus part 2 has one of the coolest scenes in sci-fi history.
"Hot Dog" (who happens to be Edwards James Olmos' son) has the coolest line as a result of the scene in question:
"Well, this oughta be different."
If you've missed any of them, SciFi is running them during the day now leading up to the premier Friday.

I just finished watching season three on DVD to refresh my memory on everything and try and see the small details that lead up to the end of season 3. If you saw it you know what it is. But frak yeah I'm ready for Friday night. I might even let the boy stay up late on friday night just to watch with me. and I'm geeky enough I have the comic book collection to go along with my propaganda posters and tshirts and anything else that i can collect at a reasonable price.

But atleast now I know I have more people to discuss this with besides the wife.
It's gonna be alright...
I won't spoiler tag anything, as the commercials leading up to this point have been running for weeks.
I don't think they're Cylons and here's why:
1. Everyone revealed to be a potential Cylon was on New Caprica and at one point or another had been incarcerated. They could have easily been brainwashed/programmed into believing they were when given a trigger. They could've been easily implanted with some transmitter or something that would cause the music.
2. Tyrol and Cally have a child. The assumption all along is that male Cylons lack the ability to provide the genetic material to procreate. If this is true, then the very fact that they have a child together negates this.
3. Tigh has a very long and well established military career. This is different from the other six known models of Cylons in that they are all fresh and relatively new to the Colonial fleet (those that have served/been around it). If one surmises that Tigh was planted in the Twelve Colonies at some point in the past, then one must be willing to accept that Cylons age, and if that is the case, then what's the point of attacking the Colonies in the first place?
4. Anders and Tory seem the most likely to be actual Cylons, if indeed they are.

I'm totally psyched about tonight. Like you all, I've been waiting for over a year for this very night. That said...I think I can put a couple of things to rest
1. The four are actually cylons. The show's producer has said as much in many interviews.
2. The four are actually cylons. The actors themselves have talked about it as well.
The biggest question is really who the fifth and final cylon is. Its not Kara, not Adama (either one), not Baltar or Roslyn. I'll offer a couple of possibilities:
a. Tom Zarek. We know next to nothing about his background. He's been close to the wheels of power since the beginning. Further, having been an original cast member from the 80s series, it would be a perfect twist to make him the final cylon.
b. Romo Lampkin. This is the dude that defended Baltar at the trial. I only mention him because he's creepy.
c. Felix Gaeda. Mr. Gaeda would fit the roll nicely as the 5th. Working hard for the fleet, never knowing the truth...
I think the thing to remember is that none of the 4 already identified knew they were cylons, with the possible exception of Tyrol (way back towards the end of season 2). So whoever the 5th is probably doesn't know either.
Those are my thoughts on the whole thing. "All will be revealed"...
if you think about Deana when she sees the final five she says " oh it's you, i'm sorry i didn't know" she could have very well recognized him. also he's the one that plans all the jumps and the cylons follow. he very well could be sending the thoughts of the jump plans to the cylon ships without even knowing it. Also if you look real closely in season three in one of the beginning episodes at the wall of pictures it appears to have a picture of Gaeda on it. you have to look real close and in slow motion almost to catch it. I may be wrong on that one though. But the whole Deana thing with her saying that could very well be any of the main characters that hasn't been recognized yet.
But anyways apparentlly they showed the season premier today online at noon EST.
so who knows what happened. I'm waiting till tonight of coursre to watch it.

the last one according to the producers is not in the picture. but also I thought of apparently judas' character in the photo is missing. Gaius is supposively the "savior" this season. Think of his trial and how Gaeda betrayed him. also makes a good argument for him to be the last one
There's a lot of it going on. What's the good in making the final Cylon a minor character? That doesn't make for very compelling television. That'd be more of a "huh, imagine that" rather than a "what the frak?"

The whole show has been the imagination of an autistic boy staring into a snow globe. This important point won't be revealed until the final episode of course.
Seriously, that crap with Callie has me really pissed off. I'm starting to feel like the final five was a jumping the shark kind of thing.
