This week, we'll be meeting at the playground at Sawyer Point, which is an open park on the Ohio River just east of the Reds ballpark. Parking costs $2.
There are two playgrounds neighboring each other. We'll likely be at the large one under the overpass (in the shade).
See you there!

Sawyer Point
My daughter, Lizzie and I plan to be there Friday. Looking forward to it!

Accepting Donations
I am tempted to make the adventure drive down there with my little crew just to meet you guys. But, I think gas alone would probably run about 40 bucks, plus lunch. What time do you guys meet?
Come down, JP!
Plans are to meet at 10:30am. Randy and I are broke as a joke, so I wouldn't count on any $$$ coming from our dusty pockets. But, it would be cool to meet you, for sure. Cruise control the whole way- it'll save a few bucks on gas. Randy, you're the scientist, back me up, homey.
And, I'm so happy that we have a new recruit. Welcome Scott and Lizzie!

mo money
Just kidding about the donations part. It's on my radar screen, but I know the wifey usually goes to MOPs every other friday so that she can pretend to be an AHM for a morning. I'll see what her plans are.
Phil
That would be so cool to meet you and your crew on Friday, if possible. If not, let's definitely plan on getting together sometime in the future.
On another note, is the COSI still there in Columbus? My relatives in Toledo told me the COSI closed its doors up there, and I was wondering if the same was true there. I sure hope not. That place rocks.

COSI
COSI is still going strong here. The kids love it. We got rid of the winter blues there several times this year. I had to spring for the membership. The zoo here is also great. Is the Cincy zoo decent?
zoo it up
I really think our zoo is superb. It doubles as a botanical gardens, so there are beautiful plants and flowers blooming everywhere. They have a great christmas lights season, and a popular halloween event every year. And the coolest attraction, I think, is the 4D theatre (now showing spongebob).
Plus, it's the second oldest zoo in the U.S., which is kind of cool, I guess. Anyway, I like it better than both zoos in Chicago. I haven't been to the Columbus zoo since I was a kid. I imagine a lot has changed since then.

Cincinnati Zoo
The Cincinnati Zoo is consistently rated as belonging in the top tier of zoos nationwide. Like Colin said, it doubles as a botanical gardens which is really cool for someone like me who loves landscaping. If you can't make it down on Friday, we should plan a trip to the zoo here. Ryder would really enjoy it much more now at 26 months old.
