You know, when I take Jane to the playground across the street she ALWAYS comes back in with that mulch stuff stuck in her laces. Odd how it gets stuck in the laces, yet it somehow manages to fall off all over the inside of the house.
I guess it never occurred to me that the best solution to that problem was to simply not take her to the playground. But, then again, if I was responsible for 20 other kids, none of which were my own, and none of which I truly had any invested interest in making sure that they received enough physical exercise... well, I can see how there is a temptation there on the part of the daycare worker. Of course, that, my friends, is why I didn't outsource my parenting.
