having trouble posting a picture

I want to post some pictures but am having trouble. I upload my image, but the image that shows when I want to preview it is the photo that accompanies my posts, not the picture I uploaded.

Additionally, when I preview, I get a message that says, "Posted December 31st, 1969." I don't do drugs, and I'm pretty sure I don't know how to time travel, so I'm not sure what to make of this.

Any suggestions as to something I'm doing wrong? Or is this part of the site on the fritz?

Last time I posted a picture it took a few days to post. The administrator approves all pictures and you will have to wait until he comes on line.

OK, thanks. I'll post it and see what happens.

And yeah that backpack is pretty good. We didn't use it much with our son, because he was so big so young. But my daughter's a little more petite. Hope to do some hiking with her in it soon.
