Before kids I thought I was contributing a lot around the house. With the birth of our son we made the decision that it would be best if I stayed home. That is when I started to take over the primary responsibility of the household duties. I soon realized just how much my wife was doing. I have been able to adjust slowly and I am so grateful for this new perspective.
Wow, say that ten times really fast! I could've clicked all three answers! I can say this, I've never had a more rewarding job. No matter how tough or trying a day can get, when you step back and take a deep breath and look at the beautiful children you have, you realize there is nothing, NOTHING else you'd rather be doing. Then, there are the days when it is like, Wow, this is the easiest and best job in the whole world! You just have to go with the flow! Go with the flow.
Actually Brian, there ARE days when I do think about other things I'd rather be doing. I say that because I think it paints a more realistic picture of father and parenthood in general. There are good and bad days. It comes with the territory.
How should I say it? Of course there are days like that. Or you just use different paints than I do. I think you've missed my point there. But I don't mind. I don't expect everybody to get what I say! Missed you at Feed the Beast the other night. Cool place!
I selected "about what I expected" because I expect(ed) it to be harder than I thought it would be and I expect(ed) it to be easier than I thought it would be on any given day.
I expected it to be hard, but not this hard. I have new respect for my father and mother, both deceased. It's work, it's fun, it's a pain, it's rewarding, etc. But there really are times when I'd like a vacation.
Hard but worth it

About What I Expected, But How Could One Know What To Expect?
Except Expect The Unexpected!

Right On,
Right On,
This is the hardest job you will ever love!

I always knew you take things very well...
How should I say it? Of course there are days like that. Or you just use different paints than I do. I think you've missed my point there. But I don't mind. I don't expect everybody to get what I say! Missed you at Feed the Beast the other night. Cool place!
All of the above...
I selected "about what I expected" because I expect(ed) it to be harder than I thought it would be and I expect(ed) it to be easier than I thought it would be on any given day.
I guess that poll is so five minutes ago...
Never-ending challenge

Tired of been happy
It has been as easy as looking trough the eyes of my mother when I was 2 or 3 yo..
