I've never been to Indian Boundary Park, but have heard good things about it. It is at 2500 W. Lunt Ave., Chicago.

splashpool at IBP
Jim- Cool to ftry a new park! I don't think we've ever been there.
Apparently there's a splashpool there. Anyone been there? Should we bring swimsuits?
See ya tomorrow!

Splashpool and park review
I've been there and can report on the water-play area. It's a large, round, sloping concrete area with a pole in the middle that sprays water out. I can't say whether it was fun or not because the spout wasn't working on the day we went. It was very old-fashioned, but it looked promising. If I were going, I'd bring suits just in case.
Indian Boundary is a large park, and it has a lot of charm. The playground is reminiscent of Oz Park -- a large set of wooden play structures to crawl over. The pieces in the playground aren't high up like at Oz. They are figures on the ground in the shape of cars and trains and the like. The petting zoo looked a little forlorn the day we were there.
