Hey guys, looks like the winter crunch is here and warm free places to play are getting scarce. It's supposed to be in the mid 30's tomorrow at best, so lets hit an old standby, the PEGGY NOTEBAERT NATURE MUESEUM. We'll meet in the children's play area. There's lots to do... water table area, reptile handling, butterfly garden, and more.

Thursdays are their "suggested donation" day, which means "free" day in my book. The Nature Museum is located just off Lake Shore Drive at Fullerton Ave across from the Lincoln Park Zoo. Free street parking is available on Cannon Drive (please read signs for time-specific parking restrictions). Additionally, there is a public pay lot located on Cannon and Stockton Drives.

On another note... I have talked to a couple Field House Directors in an attempt to get a space that we can use. CPD is pretty strict about letting groups in for free, but they think they might be able to get us "nonprofit" rates, which is in the $40 range. May still be too pricey for folks. I don't know.
