UPDATE: with the inclement weather all morning, I've decided to cancel today's playgroup. In the past we've usually reverted to an indoor location like the Nature Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, or Garfield Park Conservatory. But today with the uncertainty around the Sox game, I know I'm not going to make it to any alternative venue. Feel free to post something here if you'd still like to meet up somewhere. Damn rain!

Since there are a bunch of us going to the White Sox game, I decided to choose this park, which is a couple blocks north of U.S. Cellular Field.

Armour Square Park

3309 S. Shields Ave.

Caveat: I have never been to this park, but it does have a playground on the northwest side of the park. I also don't know how the parking situation will be, but you might find on-street parking on 33rd Street. The streets immediately south of the park are all Sox parking ($23).

I don't expect a significant turnout given the game and location, so it may just be a wash tomorrow. Hoping for the best.
