Looks like you can finally take a week off of mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, and spaghetti!
Top restaurants in Chicago are having a kids week
- Prix fixe menus: Adults pay $29; Kids 11 and under pay their age
- Early dinner seatings 5:00-7:00pm

You can book through opentable or call the retaurant directly.

unclear on the concept
I don't think these restaurant PR people have kids... why would I spend $29 to go to a fancy restaurant WITH MY KIDS? I'd rather pay a babysitter $29 so I can go to the corner liquor store and booze it up for an hour with the old alcoholic geezers in my hood.
Probably for older kids
I agree if you have kids 6 and under... but if you have kids that are 7/8 or older, I could understand how as a parent you might want something nicer for dinner, but don't want to pay $7 for the same "childrens" menu that exists everywhere. I would think that this would allow you to open your child up to different kinds of meals without paying $29 for their meal.
That was a pretty funny post

Nora, Adam and I went to breakfast at Uncommon Ground on Devon on Sunday. I wasn't really paying attention to what I ordered until we received the bill. $49 for breakfast with a 1-year old?!?! So I guess $29 bucks isn't that bad after all.
I should add that it was a damn good breakfast.
