Fellow Dads,

We are putting the finishing touches on the Saturday program and are getting thumbs up from the local LinOma dads and Convention Planning Committee.  I appreciate all the input I received from dads interested in making this a great event.  We will post the program on the main website:  www.athomedadconvention.com when we have formal committments from the speakers/session leaders.  We are working very hard to make this a successful event and worth your trip to Omaha. 

Here's what I need from you to make this a successful event: Get your registrations in early.  You can find the registration page at www.athomedadconvention.com.  I think you'll find that the fee is very economical for this event.  Book your hotel.  Go to the "Hotel and Travel" tab and follow directions.  Free parking (very rare in downtown Omaha), Free airport/downtown shuttle, FREE BREAKFAST, and a great location location means you just fly, drive, or train in and leave the rest to us.  Pass the word and the website on to as many people that you know through your local groups, blogs, message boards, and facebook.  We truly are a grass-roots, volunteer organization that needs your help in marketing this event.  The guys planning this event are members of our local LinOma (Lincoln/Omaha) dads group and a convention planning committee made up of dads from around the country...fellow at home dads like you. 

I understand in the current economic climate that money can be tight and futures uncertain.  This is one of the reasons we have strived to make this event as economical as possible, with any sponsor/donation money going towards reducing the cost to you.  Our local guys have worked hard to develop relationships in the business community.  If you know of a contact at a company that might want to sponsor us, email me at ptandrew2000@yahoo.com.
