Sasha woke up at 6am this morning because she's our cock-a-doodle-doo. My wife offered to let me sleep in (as usual), but I resisted the call of my pillow to spend time with my girl on my special day.

We walked to Perkins and shared some pancakes.

Sasha and Mommy got me that Seahorse book by Eric Carle that I mentioned a week ago, so that was nice. I also get to pick out a backyard grill today. I'll be looking for a decent charcoal one if anyone has suggestions.

Maybe my wife will give birth today too. That would be a pretty awesome gift!

Grill

I have a Brinkmann Smoke`N Pit Pitmaster Deluxe Charcoal/Wood Smoker & Grill and I LOVE IT!

I can grill tons of food at once or use it as a smoker, fantastic food either way.

Awesome Day!!

After renting a video game from Blockbuster on Saturday and playing it until 2 in the morning, my darling wife let me sleep in until 9 am. After church I went to my Ukulele group's sing-a-long and got home just in time for a little Father's day Bash with my folks, some light yard work finished out the daylight hours, and then more video games until I fell asleep. Might not sound like much but it Rocked like a hurricane.

It's a beautiful day...

Drew is my cock-a-doodle-doo, but thankfully, he only doodle-doos at 7:00am. My bombshell redhead offered to let me sleep in, so I did. It was awesome. I slept until 7:17am. The uber excitement of hearing Drew laugh and play... I couldn't resist. But I was ordered to stay in bed. So, I did. Again, awesome. Flipped on the tube. Watched some SportsCenter. Then, the bombshell redhead & Drew brought me breakfast in bed; homemade sausage biscuits (2 of 'em), complete with the mustard smiley faces and a tall glass of milk. They started to head back downstairs to the kitchen to eat their breakfast. I didn't think it would be too fun to munch alone knowing they were downstairs, so I joined them.

Then it was off to church with Drew (the bombshell redhead had to work), lunch at Red Lobster with Drew and the in-laws (bombshell redhead still at work), and then back to the house. Put Drew down for a nap; turned on the race. The bombshell redhead got home around 3:45pm. After the race, it was dinner time. Gourmet. She did good. Then, the icing on the cake... homemade brownies, and a power trimmer & edger with a bow on it.

Then on Tuesday, we went to the OB/GYN. As I predicted, kiddo #2 will be a BOY. Sweet.
