Dad Points- Au Pair

I am gone a week, get back and post, and now I am getting Dad Points. Will I get rich hire an au pair and be able to retire with these? Will it buy me beer, or maybe just earn me a attaboy? Wass up wit dat?? What's an au pair you say? See Howard Ludwig's Column for more.

I just posted a comment on the piece about Greg on the radio and go this message:

For now, don't worry about it.... you're not losing beer credits or anything.

Points fixed...maybe?

Ok, I think the points are fixed. For those who haven't figured it out...you get points for contributing. You should get:

1 point for a comment
5 points for starting a new post
20 points for a recipe
30 points for starting a group in the new group directory
15 points for posting a story or announcement (under the "Post Content" link in the side menu) that's front-page worthy (i.e. publication-quality article, announcement, etc...not a personal blurb or blog-style post).

You shouldn't lose points unless your content gets deleted. If you do, let me know.

Currently, there's no particular purpose to this other than amusement (and playground bragging rights...), though that may change in the future (think beer or t-shirts, not dollars....).

I wanted to attend in the worst way but due to a scheduling conflict, I had to give a bit. Sounded good, I've always wanted to do da Zone. I hope it goes well and do let us know how it went, would ya?
