Car rental?
Checked into renting a car. 64$ for the weekend, and if you go through expedia, travelocity, or I think orbitz too, they are Upromise supporters. The shuttle is 17 each way. 34 roundtrip. I'll get a rental car if anyone wants to split ins with me. I get in to KC at 1:15 pm Friday, and fly out 10 am so be at the car return at 8:30. Anyone, (or two, or three) interested, let me know.

I ground at 1:05 PM Friday MCI, Midwest Air from Colo. Springs. Bounced 2:20 PM Sunday. I got air and hotel yesterday, tomorrow I'll overnight my registration in.

Holy Crap! (I just read Rebel Dad's Posts, could you tell?)
I just went down the hill to the PO with my mini me in tow to overnight my convention entry form in and when Postman Pat said, “that’ll be 16 dollars” I just about, well you know…
I opted out just for Priority Mail for A LOT LESS when I heard that.
I guess it has been years since I have had to mail anything fast and was floored when he said $16.00!
Anyway KC people, be on the lookout for my entry to get to you via Priority Mail in a couple days.

Arriving Thursday evening at 7:00pm
I'm arriving at 7:00pm on Thursday evening...just in time to go catch up with DNO. Anybody who wants to meet me at the Southwest terminal, we can share a cab to my house ($30) where we will pick up my car to continue on to DNO and then the hotel.

I've got a full car Friday coming in, but Sunday I may have room for one going to the airport. We fly out at 10 am, so we'd probably be leaving the hotel at 8am if anyone needs a lift out.
