Do you have some content that you'd like to contribute to the site? ...a link to an useful website...a story about dads in the news...cool photos that you'd like to share...information about your local dads' group...an opinion poll that you'd like to do...something else? If you want to share it, we'd like to have it. Here's how to submit your content to the site:
- If you haven't already done so, create an account on the site by clicking on the "Create new account" link.
- Log in to your account
- Choose "Submit content" from the menu to the left
- Select the type of content that you'd like to submit. For general information, articles, and similar things submit a "story". For other types of content, choose the appropriate type.
- Fill out the form to create the content.
- If category selectors are shown, use them to choose categorize your content appropriately. Choose the category(s) as best you can. If you think that a new category is needed, submit the content anyway. Then, contact us to let us know - we'll add the necessary category and edit the content as needed
- Submit the form to send the content
- For obvious reasons, each submission will be reviewed before it goes live on the site. So, your content will not appear immediately - give us a few days to activate it. In general, we will approve any submission that is good-natured and relevant to the site.
By submitting content, you are (1) indicating that you are the original author of the content or otherwise have the legal right to distribute it and (2) you are giving us permission to use it. So, please DO NOT submit the copyrighted material of others.
We may edit what you submit. In general, we will only edit content to make it function better on the site or to fix major grammar mistakes, typos, and similar things. In any case, please do your own proofreading.
