Unfortunately for me the convention this year is the same weekend of the Michigan State vs. Michigan football game and my wife wants a weekend away from home without kids to attend this years game. Had the convention been one week later, I would have been there in a heart beat. If you are on the fence all I am able to say is GO TO THE COVENTION!!!!!!! It is an incredible experience and very informative. I miss everyone that I met and hope to see you all in 2008 in Minneapolis I believe correct?
I'm booked at the Hampton and my registration is in the mail. I can get airfare for about 120 bucks RT out of O'Hare.
Now, to get coverage for the kids on Friday...
So, I got coverage for the kids (Thanks to Mom-in-law!) and booked a cheap flight via United out of O'Hare at 98 bucks RT, plus tax (123.00 total on Orbitz)
I'm so looking forward to going. This will be my first time at the convention. My only disappointment is that a friend that was maybe going to go isn't going to be able to. Oh well, maybe next year!
I won't be able to make it this year, even though I am very interested in attending.
We have a few family trips coming up that will take up some time and some of our budget, so not this year.
