    <directions>In slow cooker, combine apple juice, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder and pepper.  Add roast, turning to coat.  Turn roast fat-side up.  Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 to 4 hours or on low for 7 to 8 hours or until meat is tender.  
In a regular oven, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix.  Place roast in baking bag.  Pour liquid over roast and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Liquid makes really good gravy.  Mix with cornstarch to thicken.</directions>
