A good place to share anything you want to about being a stay at home dad, especially for stay at home dads in the state of kentucky

So here I am sitting here watching my nine year old and having my blast my wife has recently took a good job and I am doing the stay at home dad thing, which is really quite difficult but rewarding, my problem is dealing with the this terrible stigma, everyone seems to be laughing at me, they call me mr. mom, especially my father-in-law who even laughs when my son holds my hand, I am trying to keep my temper down, but God this stigma makes me sooo freakin angry, if anyone else has had any problems like this I would love to know, it just seems everyone is hoping that I will fail..

I'm not really new to this site, but haven't been on it in a while.

I'm Kevin, a dad runs the show with our four year old daughter and two year old son. Our family lives in Northern Kentucky few miles south of Cincinnati.

I've been a stay at home dad since our daughter was born four years ago. The wife deals in steel.

My 3 year old son Cullen suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns on 18% of his body yesterday. We will not know until after the first 24 hours if he will suffer scaring or need skin skin grafting. Not a good way to start the new year so any prayers will be helpful.
