I realize these TechGrind articles are a little, no way beyond the scope of Daddying but these are things a Tech Savvy Blogging Daddy could appreciate, and many of you Blog in some sort of fashion.

WordPressI started out using WordPress almost 9 3/4 years ago, I Switched to the awesomeness of Joomla but am back to WordPress because WordPress has gone above and beyond recently with it’s new version releases.  I still like and use Joomla but the cool tools are not free in Joomla, whereas in WordPress the majority are quality and  free.

I have been a member of OS Training this last year to hone first my Joomla knowlwdge then add to my WordPress skillset.   This training is pretty awesome the have quite the library of videos ranging from Joomla, WordPress and Drupal.  Drupal as you may or may not know, is the medium used publish http://www.athomedad.org/.  I am about ready to take on the world using any of these mediums.

By Tools I mean Plugins

I will share with you some WordPress Plugins you need to have if you use this Open Source publishing medium.

Free Plugin Coolness

  • WP-Optimize

I am not guaranteeing you will increase your traffic or make your .com blazing fast but with these tools you will at least have a chance!

To find these plugins on your installation, just go to plug ins and search for these very titles, they were copied from my install and pasted here.  Speaking of installations, you need to keep your instillation up to date, it will make it more secure and the latest updates give you a whole bunch more customization as of version 3.4.

If you have found a cool tool and use it, please share the awesomeness!
