2026 Board Member Nominees

The National At-Home Dad Network is led by an all-volunteer Board of Directors, elected to three-year terms by membership at each Convention during the Annual Members Meeting. Officer positions on the Board (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer) are elected by the Board itself. If you would like to nominate yourself, or nominate someone, email us at nominations@athomedad.org.

Kyle Denny

Kyle Denny

Book Club Creator and Organizer, 5k and Fathers Overcoming Adversity Team Lead

Kyle recently completed his 3-year term on the Board, but he’s not done yet. Since 2023, he has organized the Network’s 5K, led the Fathers Overcoming Adversity committee, and served as the lead for the Network’s book club.

Serving another term on the Board would give Kyle the opportunity to continue building on these initiatives and contributing to the Network’s mission.

When he’s not volunteering, Kyle enjoys coffee, running, and long walks on the beach.

Tito Nieves

Tito Nieves

Tito became a SAHD in early 2020. When the pandemic hit, with their first child on the way, his wife asked him to stay at home when the child arrived. In the 6 years since, Tito has added a daughter (3) to his son (6), moved to Austin, Texas, and has embraced the at-home dad life!

Professionally, Tito spent 11+ years climbing the corporate ladder for two different organizations, as a Senior Business Analyst and Data Analytics Manager.  In these roles, he would use information to help understand and make data-led decisions.  In his spare time, Tito enjoys reading/listening to books, watching sports, and playing games.

In 2021, a fellow at-home dad asked Tito to take a chance and go to this conference for at-home dads with him.  He fell in love and has been involved in various areas since. Tito served on the planning committee and helped plan the brewery tour for the 2025 conference in San Antonio.  He volunteered for The Beershare the past three years, culminating in Tito being awarded the Beershare Volunteer of The Year Award in San Antonio.  He has also been a active member of the book club.  Tito has enjoyed the brotherhood of this community and looks forward to giving back to the organization by serving the members, and helping the NAHDN grow into the future.

Steven Wentzel

Steven Wentzel

Brian Dickson Memorial Scholarship Committee Team Lead

Steven has been an At-Home Dad for 11 years now, having found that caring for his children was far more important than graduate school. 8 years ago, after stumbling through a number of groups that didn't fit his values, he found the NAHDN and hasn't looked back. Last year, he served on the Brian Dickson Memorial Scholarship Committee, and this year he has stepped into the role of Chair, always with the goal of ensuring that every Dad can make it to the Convention.

This organization has brought Steven so much support and community, and he would like to give back however he can. Shortly after the Convention closes, he will be moving to Greymouth, New Zealand, but he will always come back for HomeDadCon, and he will always do everything he can to support the Network and his fellow Dads. If elected to the Board, he will bring fresh energy and a different perspective to the already great leadership of this group, and he hopes that he can give back at least some of what the Network has given him.
