Dale VanVlerah became the primary caretaker to his three sons (15, 8, and 5) almost seven years ago when his wife took an overnight position. They both decided that their schedules were impossible to coordinate, and that's when he became a full time stay at home dad. Dale tried for a long time to go at this parenting thing alone, but eventually went looking for a stay-at-home dad group and found the NAHDN Facebook page in 2021. He volunteers in many different parts of our network such as volunteer Coordinator, monthly contributor to our newsletter, facilitator of Friday night Dads Gotta Talk, committee chair for our Facebook page, and a lifetime member of The National At-Home Dad Network.
