Became a Stay-At-Home-Dad during the pandemic, where community was the life line I needed. What initially started out as looking for ways to be a better parent for my now 4yo son, and get a better understanding of how to handle the volatile development of a child's life, quickly became a search for community. I stumbled on to the FB group and podcast in late October 2023. Became a regular in the Dad Lounge in November of 2023. Registered to be an annual member of the organization at the stroke of midnight, January 1, 2024. For the little bit the membership fee costs, it was the least I could do to give back to the organization. Now, I'm looking for more ways to continue to give back, and ultimately help the organization as best I can, with a goal of helping the organization and its community grow, and finding tools and ways to connect with the modern dad.
