- Election Ballot Issue
- The ballot email for the election in San Antonio was never sent out, disenfranchising a significant portion of the membership. The executive board determined this was a major procedural failure and decided to void the election and hold a complete re-election.
- Governance Response
- The board determined the election must be voided and a complete re-election held, in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order. Current board members will remain in position until the new election results are certified. Only eligible nominees will be on the ballot.
- Next Steps and Process Improvements
- The board plans to call a special virtual meeting for all members to re-run the election, as required by the bylaws. They will also implement scheduled ballot emails before the convention and establish verification and audit checkpoints to prevent future issues.
- Fallout and Communication
- The board expressed concerns about the fallout from this issue, noting that members and the broader community will have questions and concerns. The board plans to draft a statement to the membership and coordinate the special election through a private Slack channel.

- Membership Magnet Design and Vendor Selection
- Keith shared the design for the member magnet this year and planned to place the order. Nik raised concerns about continuing with Sticker Mule as a vendor since their values don’t reflect our inclusion statement,
- The board discussed finding an alternative vendor that aligns with their values.
- Nik found a new Sticker and Magnet Vendor in StickyBrand
- They are competitively priced

- Movember Event Promotion
- Keith provided a link to the Network's Movember page and information, and Jeremy Haston was added as a manager of the Movember team to assist with promotion and coordination.
- Potential Board Member AMA/Town Hall
- The group discussed the idea of hosting a regular AMA or town hall event where board members could directly engage with and receive feedback from the membership. They started exploring initial options for the format and logistics of such an event.
- Convention Logistics
- The group discussed various logistical issues related to the HomeDadCon Chicago, including the status of the hotel room block, challenges with booking rooms, and plans to promote the event to members.

Section 3.01 Who Shall Be Members. The Voting Members of the Organization shall consist of individuals who meet all of the following qualifications for membership:
- An individual who has paid the annual dues as set by the Board;
- Dads who are or were the primary caregiver in their household.
- The Organization may also have a non-voting and or advisory class of members, at the sole discretion of the Board.
Section 3.02 Membership Rights Of Voting Members. Each Voting Member shall have the right:
➢ To attend and vote at all general and special meetings of the Membership;
➢ To attend and vote at the annual meeting;
➢ To nominate and vote for members of the Board;
➢ To be considered for election to a Board position;
➢ To be appointed by the Board to be a member of a Committee;
➢ To have access to the minutes of all Committee meetings, general Membership
meetings, special meetings, annual meetings, Board meetings, and Executive Committee meetings; and,
➢ To have reports concerning the Organization’s finances.
